We're Working on a Coloring Book!
Is Your Child a Visual, Auditory or Tactile Preferred Learner?
Yes, Mr. Simon and his illustrator Gene Sweeney are working on bringing your child a coloring in book to accompany his debut album Beep, Moo, Koala and a Choo Choo!
In a previous life back in Australia, Mr. Simon was a life coach and therapist who specialized in learning and communication skills with adults and children alike. So he is fully aware that humans have a preferred learning and communication style (yes, even from a young age). Music is very much an Auditory activity, but there are other styles too: Visual, and of course Tactile (Kinesthetic) preferences. In his daily music classes, he knows that some children prefer to just sit and watch him play, while others seem like they're not engaging (but are fully listening to everything he says and sings), and then there are those children that HAVE to touch everything! Hehehe. These are all children expressing their preferred learning and communication styles.
With a coloring in book, we're going to be able to engage those visual and kinesthetic preferred learners, alongside the children that love listening to his album in the car, or on their Yoto Player and TonieBox too!
